Being Taught From My Wagering Failures

First to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling on the web or at land-based betting houses for many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it up until you are beaten. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you are just having a blast until you start to pay attention to your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel queasy in your stomach and the more you try the quicker you are deprived.

When you see that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, trust me, this plan RARELY ever works. Say you’re betting on slot games, have an amount set to the side prior to beginning your action. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how alluring. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different canister. Do not spend your winnings no matter what. Once you’ve gone through your original set limit, stop. Leave, regardless if it’s on the web or at a land based casino, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be a different day, another time.

Remember, betting is assumed to be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not manage the loss, don’t even begin.
