Prior to not many years back, I used to reside just a short 2-hour drive away from Atlantic City. It was no big deal for me to hop in my truck on Fridays and go to the Strip for a spell. I was able to bet at whatever time I wanted, and I admit that I became a bit tainted in that respect.
